While heaven may be a place of unalloyed joy for those who are saved, for God it is, perhaps, different. His heart must surely weep for all those who are lost and as Jesus wept over Jerusalem, maybe He weeps over His church for harshness and unforgiveness towards one another.

Who Are The People of God
Christians need to remember that the New Testament clearly describes the followers of Jesus as the people of God. Consequently, the modern state of Israel is not the people of God. Its actions must be judged by the same standards applied to every other nation on Earth.

The government is not raising enough tax revenue to cover necessary public expenditure. Hence, public services are crumbling all around us. We need a different national conversation around tax and public services. Will the Labour Party be bold enough to start this conversation?

Is the Labour party presenting us with a different approach to managing the economy? Not on present evidence. So far, it seems to be identical to the Tories’. The Labour party seems to be the Conservative Party-in-waiting as much as the givernemnt-in-waiting!
